Jamie Oliver's Apple Crumble Cookies (2019)
Another recipe from Jamie’s 5 Ingredient book, but this time a sweet recipe. These cookies are not only tasty, but so simple to make. They are a great way to get the kids involved with cooking, or if you have unexpected guests turn up, as they can be made from beginning to end in around 20 minutes.

Ingredients:
100g dried apple
200g self-raising flour
100g butter, cold
100g caster sugar
1 large egg
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 200°C and line two trays with baking paper.
2. Using a food processor, whiz the apple until finely chopped. Then add the flour, cubed butter, sugar and a pinch of salt.
3. Blitz to fine crumbs – this will take around 1 minute.
4. Remove 3 tablespoons of the mix and set aside.
5. Pulse in the egg until combined – you may need to scrap the sides down.
6. Divide into 24 pieces and roll into balls. Press down lightly.
7. Place on the trays and sprinkle with the reserved mix.
8. Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes – until golden.
9. Cool slightly on the trays and then transfer to a wire rack.
